I am looking for suggestions. What states do you think I should visit this time? Send me a comment below and let me know what you think. You can check out the states and shops that I have already visited by looking at the column on the right.

And while I am thinking of traveling and quilt shops . . . WELL, there seams (I mean seems) to be a sign for everything else. Don't you think we need a road side symbol for QUILT SHOPS?

How about Seattle area??
How about Iowa and some more of the dozens of shops in Minnesota? I enjoy reading about your travels and "visiting" shops along with you.
Being a MN gal, I love the MN shops, BUT.. welllll.. you DID say "Where in the world.."
How about fabric stores of France? England? The Netherlands?
Too far? Then maybe a circle drive from your home to a state half the distance you have time to travel... and see what you find?
Jamie!
You have got to try the East Coast for a change...like from Philly all the way out to Lancaster County! There's a great little shop called "Spool" and then there's Lonni Rossi Fabrics where we all love your stuff!
Come and visit!
Lonni
How about Virginia? There is a shop hop the weekend of Oct. 15th in the Shenandoah Valley. It is called Tour des..??? Sorry, I just know we will be in VA at that time and I thought it was so nice of them to schedule that hop. :)
If you make it back to TN, try Hooked on Quiliting in Fayetteville, TN and then head south to Huntsville, AL. There are several around there. There are 2 in Huntsville (on that I have been to), one in Madison, AL, one in Athens, AL and another in Decatur, AL.
I love you blog, by the way!
Jamie -
Just found your blog. Have you ever thought of traveling to Idaho? I live in Eagle, Idaho, just north of Boise. I know that a quilt show &/or a quilt shop would do great here.
Looking forward to meeting you in the future!
Patti

Colorado, Idaho, more Wyoming! Would love to go with you to all these great shops --
Jamie - there is a new shop in Monticello, WI you should check out. Gorgeous renovated 1890s building and a great mix of contemporary and traditional fabrics. Happy travels!
My quilt guild takes bus trips about 3 times a year (one of those is a long trip - last year Houston International Quilt Festival and on the way Baton Rouge - great quilt shop). This year I went to see girlfriend and am impressed with NH quilt shops (especially Keepsake's annual sale). Yes, vote for road signs. Blessings, Janet
