Hurry up and wait

When you are on the road like I am, you only have a few hours to do business. Most shops open around 10 am and close around 5 pm. This means I get to have a leisurely early morning including a breakfast of some kind. But from 10-5 it's pretty much go . . . go . . . go

Today it was hurry up and wait. I got to my first shop on time but needed to wait for the owner to finish teaching a class. No problem. There's a Starbucks on every corner. This was a heavenly piece of banana nut bread.

This was a fairly busy coffee shop, so people watching was good. And the coffee came with a little wisdom on the cup!
